exporting from my MAC to MR8-HD

I have a Fostex MR8-HD that I had been trying to take a song from tracks 1 through 8 to "new song" i kept getting a "failed" message and a caution there were"too many events" i callled tech support and the guy told me i had to move the tracks to my computer and then back again to a "new spong" Well i imported to m6y computer and then exported again but the song that came back wasn't the song i sent and it replaced the one I sent so it no longer existed on the MR8 (or at least I can't see it). . I've found the tracks on my computer harddrive in TR01... format How do i get them back on the MR8? Please help...
