Clog???

In the middle of using my Bissell QuickSteamer, it began to hum loudly and sound as if it was clogged. I immediately shut it off, emptied and cleaned the water tanks, removed and cleaned the brush, and checked for obvious clogs. When I turned it back on, it continued to hum loudly, and then it stopped humming altogether. it sounds like something is clogged or stuck. Any ideas?...
